This concept project was envisioned as a soulful blend of hospitality and heritage—a hotel in Borba, Portugal, that gracefully weaves together a restaurant, row houses, and service apartments. Designed for a developer client with a deep appreciation for authenticity, the brief was to bring the essence of classic Portuguese architecture to life.

Inspired by the rich architectural legacy of the region, we embraced traditional Portuguese design elements—from classical-themed furniture to the signature four-cornered arched ceilings that define the local aesthetic. The palette was carefully curated with authentic colours that echo Portugal’s earthy landscapes, sunwashed walls, and vibrant ceramic tones.

Each space—whether the welcoming restaurant, the intimate row houses, or the serene service apartments—was designed to feel rooted in place and time.
